Originally developed for MEGU, the Japanese restaurant in the Alpina Hotel, in Gstaad (Switzerland), the Torii armchair makes a clear reference to the traditional doors at the entrance of Japanese Shinto temples. Forms have been revisited to subtly remind us of that world and then translated into a new soft form bridging East and West.
